I agree there is a need for Citation-specific searching of entries in the Research Forum.
Right now, it IS possible to search full citations including keywords as part of the entire site using the Search the MW on-line community link. Advanced Search also lets you limit your search to 'biblio' entries. Maybe I could link this in to the Research Forum page ...

keyword filtering now available
hi everyone,
keyword searching and navigation between bibliography records on keywords is now available.
it's a useful way to get at groups of releated resources -- but shows how inconsistent our language has been. there's a project there...
as always, feedback is welcome!

search by author, year, keyword or type
it's now possible to search the list of research references by author, year, keyword or type. Author, year and type have pull-downs so you can browse existing values.

i'm working on tags
sorry if you notice some nastiness as i'm working on linking keywords/tags into research references.

biblio tags still odd
i've run into a problem with the auto-entry of tags from the keywords field in the bibliography records. Navigation on keywords is working fine within bibliography entries, but the links between the biblio keyword field and the drupal category + tagadelic modules (that make the tag cloud in the left nav) aren't working correctly.
tags are only showing up after a biblio entry has been edited manually (and with 684 of them so far, that's a few too many clicks). sorry if tags seem random right now. that's 'cause they are;)
i need to check and see if there's a patch to any of the implicated modules ...
