great for seeing reactions to mw2008 postings. see http://conference.archimuse.com/crss

in between doing final updates to the site, been exploring ways to make the feed from the MW2008 updates discussion here visible on the main conference site at http://www.archimuse.com/mw2008/ -- what do you think of this sprout?

i've just added pictures to the user listing available for registered users at http://conference.archimuse.com/users it's nice to see some familiar – and new – faces there.  if you haven't uploaded your picture, you can add one to your profile. visit "my account", choose "edit", and see the instructions under "picture".

there are more than 850 users registered here now; i think it's time to consider some more networking functionality ... i'm open to ideas, and proposals to help out ;)

after a spate of spam comments, i've had to revert to approval of comments posted by guest users [i.e. anyone who isn't logged in]. registered users can still post immediately. guest users will have comments moderated before they are posted. this will mean a slight delay.

sorry -- but there's been too much crud lately.

i've just posted a new poll, so that we can get some feedback about priorities for directions on conference.archimuse.com. i'm trying to admit [slowly] that i can't do everything ... so what should be first?

since it's ICHIM07 this week, i've changed the pictures in the right column to be those with an ICHIM tag on flickr.

we can limit this to ICHIM07 when there are a few more in that pool.
