david and i are completing an article for the Encyclopedia of Library and Information Science .... it's got me wondering about what the 'general, intelligent reader' might want to know about museums and the web.
i'm thinking we need to answer the following questions:

Have you noticed how you enjoy spending time on some websites and not others? How it can be really easy, enjoyable and rewarding getting things done online? Or frustrating, dull and downright annoying? Learn how to make your users feel good about your website, your brand and the time they spend interacting with it.
Better writing for the web also makes your site more visible to people via search engines and their spiders!
This one-day course for museum and archive professionals offers an introduction to writing for the web, with practical exercises and discussion throughout
Course Leaders:
Martin Bazley, ICT4Learning.com, a consultant with over 10 years' experience as an online audience advocate - thinking about websites from the users' point of view
Jon Pratty, Editor of 24 Hour Museum, who has been working in the arts and museums sector for 20 years, and has 15 years experience as a journalist in the online arts sector.
