Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC): Director of Digital Services

The Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC) seeks a Director of Digital Services responsible for coordinating digital production, developing new services, and providing education and consultation in conjunction with NEDCC's well-established Field Service Program.

Primary responsibilities:
Digital Production - Oversees production, including workflow, pricing structure, quality control, and hardware and software purchases; addresses staff training needs; determines the Center's product mix and outsourcing needs, developing and implementing new services as needed; in consultation
with the Executive Director, engages in long-range planning for the digital lab.

Marketing - Conducts market research on clients' evolving needs; evaluates client satisfaction; helps potential clients plan digital projects and develop specifications; helps potential clients identify funding sources.

Director of Technology: MIM- The World's First Global Musical Instrument Museum

The Musical Instrument Museum is a new museum, seeking a key team member, the Director of Technology.
The mission of the Musical Instrument Museum is to celebrate the history and diversity of musical instruments from cultures representing every country of the world. Glenbow Museum: Director, Knowledge Management

An exciting opportunity exists at the Glenbow Museum to provide vision, leadership and direction in the area of museum content development as it relates to new technologies, digital media, intellectual property, and publishing. Reporting to the Vice President, Access, Collections and Exhibits, this role is responsible for copyright matters, the publishing programme, Glenbow's web presence, as well as the delivery of collections, exhibits and programmes content through exhibit technologies, and digitization. Glenbow Museum is a national leader in the delivery of digital museum content. The Director of Knowledge Management will position Glenbow both nationally and internationally as a developer of engaging digital experiences, and quality museum publishing. The successful incumbent will develop and lead projects that meet Glenbow's mandate and goals to ensure that our collections and programmes reach increasingly diverse and interactive audiences, both in person and online.

Qualifications: Masters degree in a related field plus five years in a museum environment. Four to five years experience in the area of digital content delivery, especially content delivery via the World Wide Web. This position requires significant skills in writing, public presentation, and project management. Successful grant writing skills is a strong asset.
