The University of Glasgow is seeking a successor to Professor Seamus Ross, Director of Humanities Advanced Technology & Information Institute (HATII), who will be taking up the post of Dean at the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto from January 2009.

The Walters Art Museum is seeking to fill the position of Director of Information Technology to provide leadership, management, and support for the use of a broad range of technologies. These include data, voice, imaging, email, network infrastructure and external telecommunication, special software applications and general office productivity software, workstations and peripherals, web presence and features, exhibition-based inter-actives and displays, security systems, audio visual resources, and any other devices and applications which would be reasonably subsumed within this rubric as well as help desk and other support services.

The Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC) seeks a Director of Digital Services responsible for coordinating digital production, developing new services, and providing education and consultation in conjunction with NEDCC's well-established Field Service Program.
Primary responsibilities:
Digital Production - Oversees production, including workflow, pricing structure, quality control, and hardware and software purchases; addresses staff training needs; determines the Center's product mix and outsourcing needs, developing and implementing new services as needed; in consultation
with the Executive Director, engages in long-range planning for the digital lab.
Marketing - Conducts market research on clients' evolving needs; evaluates client satisfaction; helps potential clients plan digital projects and develop specifications; helps potential clients identify funding sources.
