Why: Nature Holds My Camera was physically installed at IMA for only 3 weeks during the summer of 2007. It was an experimental exhibition that allowed visitors to interact in the gallery and on-line. Visitors to the gallery were able to submit their thoughts and questions to the blog on the website in real time. The artist, Sam Easterson, then posted comments to the blog to answer visitor questions and weigh in on the discussions. This was an excellent complement to the hands on activities that were offered inside the gallery and outdoors on the IMA campus.
