Brooklyn Museum
Designer:
in-house team
Why:

To continue our focus on our community-oriented, visitor-centered mission, the Brooklyn Museum launched the Community area of our site in January 2007. Community aims to demonstrate that we feel this is a major part of what the institution does both both online and within our physical exhibition space. Community is continuously updated by the museum through its blog, podcasts and other visitor-centered initiatives like the Visitor Video Competition. Most importantly, our community of visitors (both physical and online) is the major contributor by uploading photos, videos, blog thoughts, and comments through our online comment books.
