IT Technical Support Officer
Full time, Grade 7 (£30,115 - £36,429 inc. London Allowance)

UCL Museums & Collections and UCL Media Services are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual to provide technical IT support for dedicated teams within the two departments.

This is a joint post and the postholder will spend time between the two departments based on UCL's Bloomsbury campus in London. The postholder will be providing first and second line desktop and network support to all staff members in both departments, updating Museums & Collections website content, and assisting in developing all aspects of the departments’ IT needs.

Applicants should have previous experience in first-line IT support, with experience of second line support a distinct advantage. Also required is a thorough working knowledge of Windows XP and Macintosh OS X, Microsoft Office, understanding of basic IP networking principles, Windows networks and email, and some experience in web and database development. Experience in the support of media creation and delivery applications would be an advantage.
