A proposal for collaborating on data standards for photography related information from Luminous-Lint
I run www.luminous-lint.com which is a reference and information resource for curators and connoisseurs interested in photographers and the history of photography. A part of this includes placing photography exhibitions online and over 350 have been completed in the last two years in conjunction with museums, galleries, private collectors and a host of other organizations. We also include authentication materials such as studio stamps and signatures where available. The power of the systems are in the millions of links throughout the website and if you take a look you'll appreciate the scope of the project.
I'm interested in collaborating with museums and organizations that work on standards for the exchange of photographic records of all types, object ids, metadata, biographical data. This also includes those involved in the creation and maintaining of controlled vocabularies applicable to photography (ULAN etc).
All the best and I look forward to hearing from you,
Alan Griffiths
