The Amon Carter Museum is seeking an applicant to provide network
technical support necessary to maintain Information Technology (IT)
equipment and systems including servers, applications, databases and
response for all network and backup issues. Duties include maintaining
museum computer network and supporting software including file, print,
web, and application servers, routers, switches and firewalls;
Maintaining Active directory, Exchange, DNS, and network policies;
Maintaining documentation of systems; Monitoring, maintaining,
troubleshooting and upgrading network databases applications and
servers; Supporting systems administration and network applications
including system diagnosis, repairs, upgrades and maintenance of
operation systems and network databases; Supporting PC and Mac
workstations and network interface; Support wireless connectivity;
Providing backup to IT Technician when needed for administrative tasks,
office equipment maintenance, a/v presentations, phone system and help
desk support.

Qualifications: Degree in Information Technology or system engineering;
advanced degree preferred; Minimum two years experience in network
administration with Windows 2000+ Server and Unix or Linux; Proficiency
with network systems operations including LAN operations, security
issues, server backup systems, Antivirus programs, TCP/IP, Cisco
routers, switches, and firewalls, Windows, DNS, Exchange, web server
and Spam filtering; Experience with Windows 2000+ workstations, MS
Office suite, MAC and PC platforms; Experience with Access programming,
SQL scripting, VBA, Crystal Reports, html, XML (pHp, and mySQL
preferred).

Reports to Information Technology Manager; Position is classified
Salaried/exempt. Thirty-five hour work week. Full benefits, salary
