MW2007 Feedback

jtrant's picture

We really value the feedback that we get about what works at Museums and the Web, and what doesn't. Please complete a conference evaluation, either on-site (the bright blue page in your conference bag), or if you didn't submit one at the conference, complete it on-line.

You can also post comments here.

Thanks!

2007 conference comments

First of all, the conference was great, I hope my comments will help to make it even better.

  1. Conference room signs were too small. Also, there was not enough signs giving directions, so some people were wandering around looking for conference rooms. I knew there were hotel plans in our kit, so that's what I was using.
  2. Pre-conference "behind the scenes" tours: I was really hoping to get into one of those, many people were disappointed they didn't get in. If there was a lot of interest, maybe extra tours should have been added.
  3. Saturday started at 8, which was too early. Especially for people who were not staying at St. Francis.
  4. Some of the conference rooms were too cold.
  5. Presentations starting before time - I was late to some of the presentations I wanted to see, because the previous presenters obviously finished theirs ahead of time. I think presenters should wait until their announced time.
  6. I'd like to see more educational gaming and how it affects online audiences.
  7. Promotion/marketing of museum websites would be interesting too. You've created an awesome website, and then what? How to attract visitors to it, etc.

See you in 2008, I love the fact that this conference brings together people from all over the world. Thank you! Ivana
