The Shakespeare's Globe are looking to appoint a specialist contractor(s) to work with them on the development, production and supply of an audio guide for their Permanent Exhibition.

Detailed information about the scope of the audio guide will be provided at the next stage. However, it is currently envisioned that
five audio tours will be developed – a 'standard' tour and a children's tour in English, and three foreign language tours – and that on-site audio distribution will be through dedicated audio guide players/hardware. The permanent exhibition has 250,000 annual visitors.

The Globe are seeking interest from contractors in all or any of the following works packages:
A.1. The development of the audio script
A.2. Production of audio narration

B. The supply (sale or lease) and maintenance of dedicated audio guide hardware

All interested contractors are asked to submit a brief Contractor Information Pack, the make up of which is outlined in the PQQ. A shortlist of contractors invited to bid for the works packages will be drawn-up from the Contractor Information Packs.

The deadline for the receipt of Contractor Information Packs is 1pm, Friday 7th December 2007.
