So one of the places I always check out before I go on a trip is the discussion boards at Chow.com. Not only do people post reviews and questions, but the discussions that often pop up are really insightful and help round out your perception of a place.

It's Friday, and my favorite day at Museums and the Web. If you haven't been here before, get ready for a crazy day. The pace can be really hectic with things overlapping and so much to choose from, but it's a great time to hear the wisdom of the crowd. As the holder of an art degree, crit room is near and dear to my heart. Usability is always entertaining and every year, I learn a little something. Get ready for some fun.
