| Abstract | When planning interactive and electronic signage installations in the new de Young museum, the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco looked to existing Web-based resources to help manage these programs. Our approach was shaped by both philosophical and practical concerns, and emphasized the repurposing of existing Web content and content types, as well as a familiar back-end interface already in use by numerous FAMSF staff members for maximum usability and efficiency. | |
