Abstract		In this presentation, the ways the museums can interact with their visitors using the Internet are considered. Issues with respect to the type of visitor and the rapidly changing technical facilities available are discussed. The experiences of two museums, one of national status and one of small but ambitious stature, are included. Finally a view of possible developments in the future is posited.
