Abstract  

This paper presents the issues involved in presenting scholarly art historical content via a digital medium, anddescribes the decisions made and procedures taken to anive at our goal of a published collection catalogue on CD-ROM. The advantages and disadvantages of student programmers and other specifics of the Oberlin project should aid other institutions in their publication choices.
