The aim of my research is to establish in which manner the museums of Piedmont intend the Internet and how they act in the virtual world. I believe that the museums can help us to interpret the continuous flow of information of knowledge society by offering instruments to understand and interesting points of view to interpret information and to transform it into culture. I thus decided to study on line communication and cultural policies of museums of Piedmont, in order to comprehend if they exert this role of mediation and in which manner, and I tried to consider the possible evolutions of the system.
