Des contraintes et de l’expérience accumulée au cours de la réalisation de nombreuses bornes interactives (depuis 1989) pour notre musée, est née l'idée de proposer aux visiteurs des bornes individuelles et nomades. Le projet en est au stade de prototype. Lors de sa déambulation dans le musée, le visiteur peut choisir de consulter l’information sur les œuvres qu’il rencontre sur la borne nomade qui l’accompagne. Actuellement, les accès se font œuvre par œuvre. Des visites thématiques, reliant de manière transversale les divers aspects développés à partir des œuvres, sont en préparation. Dans le parcours œuvre par œuvre, plusieurs approches ont été pensées pour le visiteur qui a le choix entre une découverte interactive et non verbale basée sur des animations, une approche dite “ vers un discours explicatif plus scientifique et bientôt, une découverte des œuvres sur le mode ludique. L’un des enjeux les plus importants du projet MARIPOSA est d’offrir au visiteur l’information au bon moment, c’est- à-dire à proximité de l’œuvre analysée. C’est pourquoi, parallèlement à la réalisation du contenu multimédia avec Modulo, nous travaillons sur un système de positionnement du visiteur dans le musée, de manière à lui présenter le menu des œuvres analysées correspondant à la salle dans laquelle il se trouve. La borne nomade offrira ainsi au visiteur une totale liberté de déplacement ce qui aura pour conséquence un renouvellement des parcours de visite. Abstract (Paper in French) Following the constraints encountered and the experience acquired by our museum (since 1989) in the development of interactive terminals, the idea was born to propose to our visitors personal and mobile terminals. This project is at the prototype stage. When walking in the museum, the visitor can consult information on the work of art he chooses through the mobile terminal he is carrying. Up to now, access is provided for one work of art after another. Thematic tours, where various subjects are developed through a transversal link established between several works of arts, are under preparation. In the tour going from one work to another, several approaches have been developed for the visitor, who can choose between an interactive and non-verbal exploration based on animations, a “commented” tour oriented towards a more technical and scientific approach and, very soon, an entertaining tour. One of the stakes of the MARIPOSA project lies in our ability to provide the visitor with the right information at the right moment; this is to say, when he is close to the commented work of art. Therefore, in parallel to the development of the multimedia content with Modulo, we are working on a positioning system, which will allow us to present to the visitor the list of works corresponding to the room he is in. The mobile terminal would then offer full freedom of movement to the visitor, which should produce a renewal of the tour’s paths.
