Abstract

Nowadays, in a complex industrial context, everything has to be done so quickly and must be more profitable, that humans, machines and industrial plants are transferred, transformed, given up... It is the global humanity technical knowledge that disappears. The method consists in "reversing the design axis times" and proposes, starting from the technical object and external information, and thanks to the use of tools, a model for a use case in virtual situation. In order to visualize those numerical models, many virtual reality softwares are available on the market. Nevertheless they are mainly aimed to professionals; They are in fact not suitable at all for non technical people, and definitely not for museum's public. Joining three disciplines, data processing ? mechanical conception ? technical history, it has been developed a program that allows everyone (and consequently Museums) to access those technical knowledge and culture via a simple interface.
