Abstract

A museum should use the type of technology that is most suitable for the end purpose of the display and its budget. However if one is thinking about using some form of optical disc display, one should be aware of potential advantages of CD-I. The implications of a single world wide standard are profound. It means that any disc made anywhere in the world will play on anybody's CD-I player
